This policy covers omsi.in. We wrote it to be short and readable.
What we collect
- No accounts or forms. You cannot sign up on this site, and there is no comment or contact form. We never ask for your name, phone number, OTP or payment details.
- Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which guides people read, so we know what to improve. It sets first-party cookies (names starting with
_ga) and sends Google your browser type, device, approximate location (from a shortened IP address), the pages you view and how you arrived. We do not run ads, we do not use this data to build advertising profiles, and we never see who you are. You can block it with your browser's cookie settings, an ad or tracker blocker, or Google's opt-out add-on. Google's own use of the data is covered by its privacy policy. - Server logs. Our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data for each request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs keep the site secure and working and are deleted on the provider's normal schedule.
Links to other sites
Some links take you to other websites and apps. Those sites have their own privacy policies and may set cookies, collect your phone number or ask for identity documents. Read their policies before you share anything with them. We do not receive the personal data you give them.
Children
This site is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask what personal data we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it. Because we do not collect your name, phone number or other contact details, and analytics data is not linked to you, there is usually nothing to return. You can still write to us at the contact address listed on this page once it is published.

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
